In my humble opinion raw fresh homemade carrot juice would not be an ideal juice to drink before bed as it contains large quantities of natural sugar. Consuming fresh homemade carrot juice will cause a blood sugar spike which in turn can elevate the heart rate, something that obviously has the potential to create problems for attaining regular healthy sleep. A great homemade juice to consume before bed would be something that is low in natural sugar, such as pure celery juice, pure cucumber juice, pure green juice, or any other low glycemic beverage. Carrot juice is super healthy of course as it is a vitamin and mineral treasure trove, however it's one of the sweetest juices that a person can drink, it's even sweeter than most homemade fruit juices.
